Terms of Service
Client Responsibilities
As the client, you are responsible for ensuring safe access to your yard, such as keeping gates unlocked and easily accessible. If we are unable to clean due to lack of access, you will be charged for that scheduled clean-up. You are also responsible for promptly notifying us of any changes in the number of pets and for timely payment of balances due.
Treats and Snacks for Your Pets
We enjoy interacting with your pets and may offer them treats during our visits to create a positive experience. If you prefer that we do not give your pets treats, please let us know, and we will respect your wishes.
Aggressive Pets
For the safety of our team, we kindly ask that any aggressive pets be leashed or secured during scheduled clean-ups. If your pet poses a threat, including biting or aggressive behavior, we may need to pause service temporarily or terminate it. Our goal is to ensure a safe and smooth experience for everyone.
Use of Trash Bins for Waste Disposal
As part of our service, we may use your outdoor trash bin to dispose of your dog's waste after clean-up. If you prefer we not use your bin, please inform us, and we can arrange alternative disposal methods.
Inclement Weather
In the case of severe weather that could endanger our team, we will skip your yard for that week and provide an extra clean-up the following week without any changes to your monthly charge. Hazardous conditions may include, but are not limited to, heavy snowfall, thunderstorms, poor air quality, extreme heat, freezing rain, sub-zero temperatures, high winds, hail, or other dangerous weather events.
Pause of Service
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if your pet(s) will not be using the yard for an extended period (e.g., vacation, illness) and you do not wish to be charged for unnecessary visits.
Liability
While we take care during our visits, Southern Scooper assumes no liability for any incidental damage to yards, gates, pets, or other properties during routine service.
Fees and Promotional Changes
Fees and promotions are subject to change at any time. You will be notified at least two (2) weeks prior to any changes via email or text.
Termination
Either party may terminate service at any time, for any reason, with written notice (e.g., email, text). Service will cease immediately, and any unpaid balances are due within 15 days.
Agreement
By initiating service, both parties agree to the above terms and responsibilities.
